Joy grew up in Chinchilla – a small country town in south-west Queensland. She has worked in the sales and marketing industry for over 30 years, selling and promoting a variety of products and services. Over the last 20 years she has refined her abilities by working primarily in direct sales where she added training to her impeccable resume. A couple of years ago she set her sights on retiring, but her kids – Denver and Troy – lured her into working with them in their reptile business.

While growing up Joy was terrified of snakes – anything slimey and slithery scared her witless. But since her boys converted her she is just as passionate about reptiles as they are.
